What we do

Outsource Electronics specialize in small to medium batch assembly of Printed Circuit Boards, Cable Forms, and Electro-mechanical assemblies, all to a recognised Quality Assurance accreditation. There is an in-house design department enabling prototype and pre-production to be built with direct design involvement, ensuring exact specifications are met, prior to full production assembly. Product is tested according to Customer requirements, either in-circuit, functional, or software driven, fixtures being Customer supplied or designed and built in house.

Production Surface Mount PCBs are assembled on auto pick and place machines, as are prototypes and very small batches, which can also be hand placed, all being inspected using AOI or comparator systems. Conventional assembly is by hand or auto insert, and mainly flow soldered prior to visual or comparator inspection.

Cable forms are produced using auto or hand equipment, and are tested on a Cirrus test unit to ensure correct manufacture to Customer specifications.

PCBs and Cable forms can be assembled together in a unit, tested, packed, and despatched to the Customer, or direct to the end user, anywhere in the world.

We also offer a full procurement service by very experienced staff, or are happy to accommodate Customer free issue material.

Ongoing investment plans for our site facilities, and the dedication of our workforce, all contribute to a quality level of service we offer our broad base of Customers, whether it is for full turnkey manufacturing process, or single product supply. Our general experience within industry has often proved of benefit to Customers when developing new, or re-engineering and cost reducing existing product.
